The Rubicon US REIT contains an aggregate of approximately 3.3 million square feet of commercial office space, with properties located throughout the United States. It is owned by a joint venture consisting of affiliates of Kaufman Jacobs, Starwood Capital, and JPMorgan Chase. Affiliates of Kaufman Jacobs play additional roles in the daily operations of the REIT, serving as REIT manager, property manager, and construction manager.

The REIT is comprised of four portfolios and one build-to-suit development project.  The largest of the portfolios, know as GSA II, contains approximately 1.8 million square feet of government occupied facilities.  The remaining three portfolios are joint ventures that are each 80% owned by the REIT.  These portfolios contain a total of approximately 1.2 million square feet of commercial office space and consist of assets that are leased to various private sector tenancies.  The single development project, Overtown Transit Village II, is an approximately 300,000 square foot office building that was completed in 2010 and is 100% municipally leased.
